With its upwind plants and the additional geo-thermal and photo-voltaic renewable resources, the Supercell plants produce high-end solutions for nutrition and energy whilst using the current so generated in a huge number of megawatt (cf. Metropolitan Vertical Cities).<\/p>\n

In the lower part of a Supercell we generate hydrogen out of sea water while in the upper parts only the massive production of micro-algae takes place in bio-reactors under artificial lighting.<\/p>\n

Sea-algae is estimated to produce 70-80 % of all oxygen in the earth\u2019s atmosphere and all by consuming CO2-gas which micro-algae need for growth. It is accumulated during the hydrogen production and as industrial waste we receive. Supercell needs gargantuan quantities of CO2 as raw material for production. In the 88 floors of the five wings of the building, grow different micro-algae in 24 h culture until ripeness.<\/p>\n

The big innovation of a Supercell is the 100 % clean energy and foodstuffs production on a plot of approximately 100.000 m2 with a production area of 1.8 Mio m2 which replaces 16 km2 of rural space in terms of biomass. This is globally viable on any shore.<\/p>\n

Supercell is able to clean the urban and domestic wastewater and accelerate the algae\u2019s growth by nitrogen and phosphate compounds.<\/p>\n
